Yuichi, You're Amazing!

Watching Yuki Yuichi's incredible speed, Nohara Rin glanced at the ointment she had prepared and shook her head in disappointment.

"I was getting ready to go help treat them."

"But they'll be better off going to the infirmary than having me treat them."

"Obito, those two are so strong."

Nohara Rin spoke with a radiant smile, then turned to Uchiha Obito. "We need to work hard too."

Seeing Nohara Rin's radiant smile, Uchiha Obito clenched his hands and put on a tough front. "I was just about to step in and stop them."

"Too bad they finished before I could get there."

Looking at Uchiha Obito, Nohara Rin smiled sweetly without calling him out. "You're great too, Obito."

"Hehe." Hearing her praise, Uchiha Obito scratched his head and gave a silly grin. "I guess so... hehe..."

Up ahead, Yuhi Kurenai watched Yuki Yuichi drag Kakashi toward the infirmary. She pressed her lips together, then jogged after them.

She wasn't as strong as Yuki Yuichi or Kakashi, and her physique wasn't as tough as theirs either, but at least she had learned to refine chakra.

Gathering chakra in her legs, Yuhi Kurenai moved incredibly fast.

Under everyone's gaze, Yuhi Kurenai's figure flashed, and she shot off in an instant.

"Must be nice." A civilian girl who had been standing beside Yuhi Kurenai watched her speed, unable to hide the envy in her eyes.

She had enrolled and could learn the chakra-refinement technique, but she knew she might never catch up to classmates who had started refining chakra early.

As Yuhi Kurenai chased after them, the teachers watching from the staff room also closed the windows.

They could tell Kakashi hadn't suffered any serious injuries.

If he had, someone would have rushed down already.

"Where am I? Why can't I breathe..." Kakashi opened his eyes groggily, and the first thing he noticed was that he couldn't catch his breath.

Once he came around a little more, he realized his heels were dragging on the ground and someone was pulling him along by the back of his collar. He had no idea where they were going.

Kakashi immediately began to struggle.

"Hm?" Noticing Kakashi's movements, Yuki Yuichi gave a startled exclamation, then stopped and released the back of his collar.

As soon as Yuki Yuichi let go, Kakashi landed on his butt. His whole body jolted against the ground, and his mind went blank.

"You woke up this quickly?"

Yuki Yuichi was genuinely curious. That kick had been heavy—he'd hit Kakashi right in the chin, yet Kakashi had come around so fast.

Hearing Yuki Yuichi's words, Kakashi snapped out of his daze and stood up. He rubbed his butt and sucked in a sharp breath.

The ground was hard, and Yuki Yuichi had been dragging him quite high off it. With no cushioning at all, the impact had left his head spinning.

Still rubbing his butt and wincing, Kakashi answered, "I've been taking medicinal baths since I was little. My constitution is much stronger than an ordinary person's."

He didn't dislike Yuki Yuichi as much now. Yuki Yuichi had beaten him, but it had been a fair fight, and Kakashi accepted the result.

"Oh." Only then did Yuki Yuichi remember that although the Hatake Clan wasn't a clan in the usual sense, it was still formidable. Kakashi's father, Hatake Sakumo, was known as the White Fang of the Leaf.

Giving Kakashi medicinal baths was hardly difficult for him.

As the two fell silent, Yuhi Kurenai caught up. She saw Kakashi rubbing his butt while Yuki Yuichi stared intently at his crotch, and froze on the spot.

The scene looked strange no matter how she saw it.

She knew nothing could be going on between them, but she couldn't help imagining otherwise. Then again, this was the world of Naruto, so it made sense.

After all, this world was famous for its precocious children.

"You... you two?" Yuhi Kurenai pointed at Kakashi and frowned at Yuki Yuichi.

"Kurenai, you're here." While Yuhi Kurenai frowned, Yuki Yuichi lit up at the sight of her.

"He's fine now."

"We can go eat."

"Oh, okay." At his words, Yuhi Kurenai stopped worrying about it and headed off with Yuki Yuichi to get lunch.

Kakashi watched them leave, unsure what to say.

He'd wanted to discuss and review their earlier fight with Yuki Yuichi.

But looking at the two of them, Kakashi decided not to invite himself along.

"Oh, Kakashi!" Just as Kakashi was about to leave, someone came running up behind him.

Seeing Kakashi quietly rubbing his butt all alone, Might Guy leaped forward. "My rival for life, are you all right?"

Kakashi ignored the overly familiar Might Guy.

Only a handful of his classmates could hold his interest.

And Might Guy clearly wasn't one of them.

But Kakashi's coldness didn't make Might Guy give up. If anything, he became even more enthusiastic.

"Want to have lunch together? I'll share some of my bento with you!"

"My dad made me a beef bento!"

"No, thanks."

Kakashi walked ahead while Might Guy kept talking behind him.

Meanwhile, Yuki Yuichi and Yuhi Kurenai headed in the opposite direction.

"Yuichi, what are we having for lunch?" Yuhi Kurenai rubbed her little belly.

She'd eaten something in the morning, but not much. By noon, she was definitely hungry.

However, Yuhi Shinku hadn't prepared lunch for them. She wasn't sure whether he'd forgotten or not.

Hearing Yuhi Kurenai's question, Yuki Yuichi grinned. "We're eating out, of course!"

Yuhi Shinku hadn't packed them lunch, but knowing how doting he was, Yuki Yuichi figured that even if he'd forgotten earlier, he would have remembered by now.

"Yuichi, did Dad give you any money?" Yuhi Kurenai asked curiously.

Yuki Yuichi shook his head. "No."

"But I think Uncle Shinku is right outside the school gate."

"Huh?" Yuhi Kurenai blinked her big, watery eyes and looked at him in surprise.

"Uncle Shinku's pretty reliable." Yuki Yuichi didn't explain. He took her little hand and led her toward the school gate.

A little while later.

"Ugh, how do I say this without making Kurenai mad..."

Yuhi Shinku was at the school gate, trying to figure out how to keep his daughter from getting angry. He had just looked up when he saw Yuki Yuichi and Yuhi Kurenai running toward him hand in hand.

Yuhi Shinku took a deep breath, forcing a smile onto his face. Just as he was about to speak, Yuhi Kurenai's delighted voice reached his ears.

"Yuichi, you're amazing!"

"Dad really is here!"

Hearing Yuhi Kurenai's praise, Yuki Yuichi immediately puffed out his chest and raised his head. "Of course! I'm Yuki Yuichi!"
