A tangled mess of emotions!
That was the only thought Uchiha Fugaku and Hyuga Hiashi had after seeing Yuki Yuichi open his eyes.
Although Yuki Yuichi's eyes looked somewhat different from both the Sharingan and the Byakugan, the difference was truly minimal.
One glance was enough to understand the connection between those eyes and the Byakugan and Sharingan.
As Uchiha Fugaku stared into Yuki Yuichi's eyes, their gazes met, and Yuki Yuichi gave him a shy smile.
Taking a deep breath, Uchiha Fugaku looked at Sarutobi Hiruzen. At that moment, he desperately wanted to question him: This was what you called no big deal?
Whether it was the Uchiha or the Hyuga, anything involving eyes was never a minor matter.
Hyuga Hiashi was still staring at Yuki Yuichi. He had entertained some guesses before, but those guesses had only involved something that required him to step forward.
Or perhaps that a Byakugan belonging to the Hyuga Clan had ended up outside the clan.
But Yuki Yuichi's situation was something he had truly never anticipated.
"Th-this... is this a Byakugan?" A strange expression appeared on Hyuga Hiashi's face as he continued staring at Yuki Yuichi.
"Yes. It's a dojutsu created by fusing the Byakugan and the Sharingan."
Sarutobi Hiruzen did not let Yuki Yuichi or Minato Namikaze explain. Instead, he spoke himself. "Because it is a fusion of two Kekkei Genkai, these eyes have been named the Three-Tomoe Byakugan."
At some point, Sarutobi Hiruzen had taken out his pipe. He tapped it against the table, lit it, and took a deep drag.
It was not just the heads of the two great clans whose thoughts were in turmoil. He was the same.
Even after giving himself time to process it, he still had not fully recovered from the shock.
