In the photo was a little girl with pigtails, a round head, rosy cheeks, and sweat pouring down her face. She had climbed a "high tower" some ten meters tall. One hand gripped a rope loop tightly while the other was raised high. Beaming with pride, she waved to the people below. Look! She looked just like a general returning in triumph.
The photo was taken four years ago, when I was still a child who knew little of the world.
