1908 was a pivotal year for the future course of world affairs. In early May, the Anglo-Bulgarian negotiations, which had lasted more than half a year, finally drew to a close. On the 18th, the two nations signed the Anglo-Bulgarian Entente, a treaty that would profoundly shape world history!
The treaty stipulated:
