"Mayday! Mayday!"
The two helicopters that had entered C-Moon's domain began swaying abnormally from side to side.
The pilots stared at their instrument panels in panic. The helicopters were equipped with gravity sensors to help pilots determine up, down, left, and right while flying through clouds or fog.
But the pilots' eyes were wide as they stared at the panels.
The direction marked "up" was not the blue sky—it was the space center nearby.
"I... I'm hallucinating. That has to be it..."
One helicopter had already plunged headfirst into the ground and exploded.
Watching his companion die, the pilot could only grit his teeth, adjust the helicopter's heading, and fly toward "up."
Father Pucci let out a pained howl.
The two Steel Balls imbued with the Golden Spin were like twin drills. Their spinning force penetrated the gravitational barrier and bored two bloody holes through Father Pucci's temples.
Blood sprayed everywhere, exposing stark white bone.
Not only that, under the force of the Spin, the skin on the left half of Father Pucci's body had become loose and sagging. Together with his already graying hair, he looked like a feeble old man on his last legs.
Yet the skin on the right half of his face was taut and glossy, like that of a sixteen- or seventeen-year-old boy.
A mirror that had fallen from the Ghost Room landed before Father Pucci under the shifted gravity.
Wracked by boundless pain, Pucci saw his reflection in the mirror. Pain, shock, and terror filled him. Then he saw yellow, white, and green mucus seeping from his temples in thin strands. That was clearly...
His brain matter!
"AAAAAHHHH!!!!"
Father Pucci's mind became utterly chaotic as extreme fear completely consumed him.
He spread his arms wide and prayed for divine grace.
Boom—
A helicopter
