The explosion from the Uchiha Clan Compound drew the attention of many Konoha Ninja. Minato Namikaze didn't even need to give an order; the moment they heard the noise, many ninja in the village hurried toward the Uchiha Clan.
Obito Uchiha had been free of missions lately and had spent most of his time with Kakashi and Rin. When he heard the distant explosion, he had no idea what had happened, but he rushed toward the compound all the same.
The Konoha Ninja soon gathered at the entrance to the Uchiha Clan Compound, where the guards stopped them.
"What happened? Let us in!"
"Yeah! Don't block the way. What's going on?"
The Konoha Ninja crowded at the entrance, shouting questions at the guards. But the guards stood firm. Even as more and more ninja arrived from the village, they showed no sign of letting anyone inside.
"Quiet! I'm under orders to guard this place. No one is allowed to enter or leave the Uchiha Clan Compound!"
"This is an order from the Fourth Hokage, Lord Uzumaki Kuming!"
The guard faced the mass of people without flinching and shouted back at them.
"The Fourth Hokage? Lord Kuming died ages ago. What nonsense are you spouting? Move!"
"Exactly! Did Lord Kuming give you that order from the underworld? Get out of the way!"
The guard's words only angered some of the ninja even more. They thought he was making fun of them.
"Wait!" Just as the crowd was about to force its way in, Obito Uchiha hurried out in front of them and spread his arms to stop them.
"Everyone, calm down. What the guard said might be true!"
"Lord Uzumaki Kuming, the Fourth Hokage, really is alive, and he's already returned to the village! Kakashi and Rin both saw him."
"If
