"The man I like is actually such a naive guy?!"
The sigh that suddenly rang out inside the stone chamber startled everyone present. The voice had appeared far too abruptly; before that, even the young man who claimed to be Madara Uchiha hadn't realized anyone else was in the chamber.
Hearing the sudden voice, Kisame found it somewhat familiar. He quickly looked around, but the stone chamber held no one besides the Fourth Mizukage, Yagura, blocking the doorway and the young man who claimed to be Madara Uchiha.
"Who's there? Stop hiding and show yourself!"
Unable to find the owner of the voice, Kisame drew Samehada from his back and gripped it tightly, warily scanning his surroundings.
Across from him, the young man with the Sharingan seemed to notice something. He pitched forward, rolled, and swiftly left his spot. The Fourth Mizukage, under his control, immediately drew the Black Staff from behind his back, twisted around, and rushed to where "Madara Uchiha" had been standing. He raised the staff over his head.
"Clang!"
The ringing of metal echoed through the stone chamber. Outside the doorway, a voice rang out in surprise.
"Oh? You actually sensed where I was."
"Looks like your ocular powers really have improved."
"You're one of the survivors among the Uchiha Clan's rogue ninja!"
In the darkness, a flash of crimson caught everyone's eye. Then a young man slowly emerged from the shadows. When he saw the newcomer, "Madara Uchiha's" pupils contracted. He had never imagined this man would appear in a place like this!
"You—you are!"
"Konoha's Hokage, Uzumaki Kuming!"
Kisame was equally shocked to see him. He knew the red-haired young man before him all too well. He had done a great deal of investigating back when he was assigned to assassinate him.
