Within Wufang City, Hiruzen Sarutobi's Shadow Clone vanished on the spot. After it disappeared, Orochimaru licked his lips excitedly, his gaze fixed on the mysterious creature beneath the ground, his face alight with anticipation.
He had arrived in this city a few days ago. His strategy differed from Hiruzen Sarutobi's. On his first day in Wufang City, he had brought Guren into the city with him. After gathering some information, he attacked the Daimyo Mansion that very night. At the time, the enemy wasn't very strong.

All the demons in the city seemed to be freed from restraint at the same time and began slaughtering the humans on a massive scale. Some unknown creature was also rapidly harvesting human lives.

Tonight was supposed to be the night he made his move. He hadn't expected that, as soon as he arrived at the Daimyo Mansion, he would run into Hiruzen Sarutobi's Shadow Clone. And Hiruzen Sarutobi had even forced part of the Progenitor Demon's body to reveal itself.
That would save him a lot of trouble.
