As Hiruzen Sarutobi and the others left Wufang City and returned to Konoha, news of the city's complete destruction spread like wildfire throughout the village. An event this major couldn't be kept from Konoha's citizens. For a time, the whole village was on edge, afraid that Ghosts might attack them as well. Those in the village with their own agendas also learned of Wufang City's destruction, and word quickly spread to other countries.
Nearly all of Konoha's senior officials had gathered in the conference room of the Hokage Building. They were currently grappling with the question of where the Daimyo would stay next.
"Fifth Hokage, the Daimyo's intentions are clear. He doesn't want to return to Wufang City. He hopes to choose a new site and build a new capital."
