"Sage Fukasaku, I want to learn Senjutsu!"
Uzumaki Kuming made his request to Sage Fukasaku. When the toads heard what he wanted, they all fell silent.
"Senjutsu? Did young Jiraiya tell you about it...?"
"You're not ready to learn Senjutsu yet!"
Sage Fukasaku gave Kuming a long look before turning him down.
"Sage Fukasaku, Jiraiya-senpai told me the same thing before."
"But I've never understood what I'm lacking. I'd appreciate it if you could tell me frankly."
"I'll work on whatever it is. I have to learn Senjutsu!"
Kuming was deeply confused by Fukasaku's blunt refusal. He didn't know what made him unsuitable for learning Senjutsu. As far as he was concerned, he met all the requirements.
"By combining physical energy, spiritual energy, and Natural Energy, you create a more powerful form of Chakra called Senjutsu Chakra. That's the essence of Senjutsu."
"Only those with sufficiently strong physical and spiritual energy have a chance of learning Senjutsu."
"You're still too young. Your physical energy hasn't reached its peak, and you don't have enough Chakra to support your training."
"Even Jiraiya, with the Chakra he has now, faces enormous risks when using Senjutsu. Harnessing Natural Energy is no easy task."
"Harnessing Natural Energy is extremely dangerous. If it consumes you, you'll turn to stone."
"You'll die!"
Sage Fukasaku explained it to Kuming. Beside him, Jiraiya kept nodding. Having learned Senjutsu himself, he knew how difficult it was to control. Kuming was far too young; there was no way he could master it.
"So you think I don't have enough Chakra to even combine it with Natural Energy, and that I'd be consumed before I could manage it."
"I thought someone as capable as Sage Fukasaku would be able to sense the power within me."
As Kuming spoke, his presence abruptly changed.
