Madara Uchiha let out a cold snort. The four shadows struck again, launching a chained assault.
"Pfft...!"
"Argh...!"
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
Jishiki Otsutsuki was struck once more by the four shadows that appeared in an instant. Since he had not activated his Rinnegan, he had not seen the shadows attacking him at all.
He was sent flying again, crashing through the surrounding mountains and causing them to collapse with a thunderous roar. Endless shock flashed through his eyes.
"D-Damn it."
"Is this the ocular technique of your Rinnegan?"
"To think I was actually struck by an ant like you—this is an insult to me, Jishiki Otsutsuki."
"Area Freeze."
Jishiki Otsutsuki was enraged. He had actually been struck by an ant—and more than once, at that. Though he had been careless, it still proved just how powerful and mysterious the other party's ocular technique was, filling him with anger.
In an instant, all space around Jishiki Otsutsuki froze. However, the affected area did not expand beyond a three-meter radius.
Clearly, using an ability akin to time stop caused his ocular power consumption to multiply.
Yet he could freely control both the range and duration of the spatial stasis. It was somewhat similar to one of Senju Fujima's Eternal Mangekyo ocular techniques.
However, there were differences. His ability was simply time stop, whereas Senju Fujima could manipulate the flow of time within frozen time.
The two abilities were quite similar, and both immensely powerful, yet they were not the same. Still, each was utterly terrifying.
And because of Jishiki Otsutsuki's ocular technique, Madara Uchiha's four shadows were immediately put on pause.
"Another ocular technique like this?"
Madara Uchiha frowned deeply as he looked at the time-stopping ocular technique before him, seemingly lost in thought.
"Madara, do you need me to join
