Ren Ze followed that direction all the way to the city wall without sensing Nine Tails. Now he was getting anxious. No longer caring about shocking the world, he flew into the air and directly spread his Psychic Power across the entire city to search.
Very soon, he sensed Nine Tails' aura in a corner of the northern city and saw a woman chasing him down. Nine Tails was using what looked to Ren Ze like clumsy Lingbo Micro-steps, scrambling left and right and narrowly escaping danger again and again.
Ren Ze had originally only intended to intervene and save Nine Tails, then ask what had happened before deciding what to do. But seeing another person arrive, the woman could no longer afford to hesitate. The "woman" stopped concealing herself and tore away the human skin she wore.
That was right. It had been draped in a human skin to conceal its aura.
A skin-wearing ghost? This was Ren Ze's first time seeing one of these things.
Its true form was humanoid. Its face was wrinkled as though blurred by mosaic censorship, with no facial features at all save for a gaping, blood-filled maw. Its entire body looked like a person who had been skinned alive.
Its flesh constantly wriggled, as though something living were hidden beneath the blackened meat.
Honestly, this thing looked like pure childhood trauma. Any normal person would need a wall of scrolling comments for protection just looking at it through a screen.
Naturally, Ren Ze was not affected by such things. The moment the creature shed the restraints of its
