In the Eighth District, Little One carried a huge bundle of beast hide on his back. He had dug up eighteen Rune Bones in all, each crystal-clear, shimmering with rosy light and covered in runes. They weren't Treasure Bones from a Primordial Remnant, but a bundle this big was still worth a fortune.
There were genuine bones of Primordial Remnants in this area, used to suppress and guard the place. Unfortunately, he couldn't dig them up. If he tried to excavate them, he might suffer serious injuries—and cause an enormous commotion.
Little One slinked around like a thief, watching for a while. When no one came to catch him, he felt a little more at ease.
"I'd better get out of here, fast!" He bolted like a streak of smoke, moving at an astonishing speed.
He planned to press on to the Second Battlefield. He absolutely couldn't stay here any longer, or someone would probably grind their teeth and come after him.
In the Eighth District, everyone was in high spirits. The farther they charged in, the more confident they became. They felt as if they had endless strength, and breaking through the formation domains came as easily as lifting a hand. They swept forward, smashing through everything in their path.
More than ten thousand people were pressing ahead at speed. Scattered through different forests, they advanced from every direction toward the final checkpoint, each convinced of victory.
"Oh, heavens! Oh, earth! I've failed four times in a row. This year, I'm bound to succeed! All that diligent practice won't have been for nothing!" A young man in his twenties was streaming with tears.
"It's not that hard. This is my first time taking the trial, and I already feel like I can almost pass. Looks like I really am
