Over a hundred Asauchi fell straight down from the sky, generating intense heat through friction with the air until they burst into flames, hurtling toward Seireitei like fiery meteors.

At that moment, looking up from the cloud-shrouded Seireitei, a dazzling rain of light descended directly toward the ground from where the sunlight had torn through the dark clouds.

From high in the distant sky, there seemed to come a faint rumbling, like muffled thunder.

One boom after another, in a highly regular rhythm.

Immediately afterward, another rain of light—again no fewer than a hundred Asauchi—fell from the heavens, close on the heels of the first wave...

Then came the third wave, the fourth... five waves of light rain in all...
