The War Begins!

As night deepened, the temporary peace within Seireitei, like the remaining hours of the day, was running out.

The Central Council Tower plaza, which had only just calmed down after the disturbance, was now a complete mess. Layer upon layer of defenses had been set up around its perimeter, with three times the usual number of guards stationed there.

The plaza's ground had also been almost utterly destroyed by the battle between Captain Kurokawa and the Tsunayashiro head during the day.

After Kurokawa Sounan vanished without a trace, none of Central 46's members dared leave the Central Council Tower again. No one was willing to gamble on whether they would be attacked by Sounan during the short walk back from the Central Council Tower to Seijoto Kyorin.
