Far from Las Noches lay a vast plain.

If Hueco Mundo's rough geography were drawn on a map, it and Las Noches would lie almost at opposite ends of the diagonal.

Here, the undulations of the desert gradually flattened out until they vanished entirely, eventually becoming an extraordinarily vast plain of sand. No matter which direction one looked, the horizon was clearly visible without obstruction.

Across the boundless, flat desert, there was nothing but a sparse scattering of stunted quartz trees.
