Cang Nan merely kept his head lowered, wiping his right hand clean. Grabbing the Fracción's head had gotten quite a bit of blood on it.

"My life?" Szayelaporro laughed instead of getting angry. "Perhaps it's because Captain Kurokawa hasn't come to Hueco Mundo in so long that you'd say something like that. In Hueco Mundo now, I'm afraid no one can kill me."

His left hand unobtrusively pressed against the hilt of his sword as he looked at Cang Nan with open provocation:
