Dozens of servants and more than ten Sixth Division officers surrounded the blood-soaked Kuchiki Byakuya as he rushed through the main gate and into the courtyard like a gust of wind.

Kuchiki Byakuya held an unconscious girl in his arms, shouting at the servants along his path as he ran:

"Out of the way! Hurry! Move! Move!"

The blood spattered across him was not his own, but the girl's. A massive wound stretched across her back, still dripping blood without cease.
