Kyoraku Shunsui leapt down from the cliff, racing toward the White Way Gate as he dashed across the rooftops of Seireitei's buildings.
"Damn it, why did Seireitei have to be built so huge..." Kyoraku grumbled to amuse himself as he ran. "For such a tiny little matter, I'm practically running my legs off..."
Yet less than two minutes after he set out, Kuchiki Byakuya's position shifted noticeably again within his spiritual perception.
Even from such a great distance, he could still sense the other man moving. That meant Byakuya must have actually covered an even greater distance.
