The Dust Has Settled... For Now

A colossal palm blotted out the sky as it howled down from above.

Along the edges of the palm formed from swirling storm clouds, the clouds were torn into long, thin strands that streamed away in straight trails.

Even from the distant regions of Seireitei and the Rukon District, people could witness this heart-stopping sight. It was as though, from the unseen far side of the sky, some mysterious and immense god had struck an enraged palm downward.

At the same time, shattered stones and sand rose from the ground, gathering into another enormous palm carrying the same oppressive might as it swung upward to meet the one descending from the sky.

As the distance between the two earth-shattering palms drew ever closer...
