The Wandenreich's New Year

Soul Society, Wandenreich.

Unlike the Seireitei and the World of the Living, both of which were celebrating the New Year, the Quincy hidden deep within the Wandenreich had no intention of celebrating it at all.

Or rather, such distinctions simply did not exist here.

There was no sun or moon in the shadows; the passage of a day could only be told by the great clock atop Silbern.

When His Majesty was awake, it was daytime.

When His Majesty slept, it was nighttime.

And because of that, the Quincy of the Wandenreich actually preferred to act at night.

After all, if there was no other difference between day and night, then when His Majesty was asleep...
