Training, Mad Dog Comes Knocking

A week later.

In the combat room, two figures were fighting each other. One of them was rather unusual, with one arm being a Steel Arm, which swung a punch at the figure before him.

It was incredibly fast, even producing the sound of tearing air.

But in an instant, the other figure raised the shield in his right hand and blocked it before himself.

Bang!

The two figures immediately locked in a stalemate.

But then Shen Fei reached out with his other hand, grabbed Klaw's other arm, yanked him close, and threw him over his shoulder.

"Ow~"

The people around them immediately raised their guns in alert.

"You pieces of shit, put them down!"

Klaw, lying on the ground, roared. Shen Fei shook his head and pulled Klaw back to his feet.

"Your flesh-and-blood body is seriously powerful! How come it feels like I still can't beat you even after getting this arm? You didn't install something in my arm, did you?"

Klaw asked suspiciously. During his earlier tests, several people had been unable to get anywhere near him.

"That's because I figured out your attack patterns, while you're still not used to it. Don't let your advantage become your weakness!

"You rely too heavily on your Steel Arm."

Shen Fei shook his head. Over the past week, he had been frantically studying all kinds of biological knowledge. Whenever he had time, he followed Klaw's security instructors to learn fighting, marksmanship, and more.

With his learning ability and a body capable of performing any movement, he was like a shriveled sponge, madly absorbing all kinds of knowledge.

"This thing is so useful. It feels just like my own arm, and it's insanely strong."

Klaw looked at his arm and could not help swinging it. It was almost identical to his original arm.

"But I feel like your body is even stronger than my Steel Arm."

Shen Fei shook his head. "Maybe our strength is about the same, but in terms of durability, I'm nowhere near your arm. Your arm can even emit sound waves."

"No matter how strong my body is, I'll still bleed and get hurt when facing blades, guns, and bullets."

Klaw laughed when he heard that. "You make it sound like there are people whose bodies are impervious to blades and bullets."

He then added, "I mean people, not monsters like the Hulk. Those kinds of monsters are rare even in the United States."

Shen Fei took the towel Daisy handed him and wiped the faint sweat from his forehead. "There really are people whose bodies are impervious to blades and bullets."

"Lots of them. Colossus, Power Man, Juggernaut, and so on. This world is far stranger than you can imagine. There are even people who can fly."

Hearing this, Klaw's eyes widened. He sighed, "The world is vast, and there are countless superpowered people. There really is no end to the strange things out there."

In truth, everything Shen Fei had mentioned was one of his goals. Power Man and his wife—Jessica, his own wife—were also Shen Fei's targets. After all, Jessica, who could fly and could be researched, was one of them.

The two chatted as they walked out of the combat room. Klaw could not help asking, "Your body must have been modified too. Why not modify me as well?"

"I can, but it'll hurt. A lot. If you can't endure it, you'll turn into a pile of mush. Want to try?"

"Isn't there a painless option?"

"If it's painless, it means it won't work. Power always comes at a price. Didn't you trade one arm for that arm of yours?" Shen Fei smiled.

"Then forget it. This arm works pretty well as it is."

"I'm going to look over the research materials first. I've figured out that Vibranium Exoskeleton you mentioned, but it'll take some time. After all, what we need is a War Machine, not a tin can.

"I'm still looking for an energy source that can keep it running for a long time."

Shen Fei rolled his shoulders. Klaw did not seem to care. "Take your time with that. We've got plenty of time."

Just then, Klaw's secretary pushed over a dining cart and said with a smile, "Boss, President Shen, this is juice. Please enjoy."

After sparring, the two liked to drink a glass of juice as a way to relax.

Klaw picked up two glasses, handed one to Shen Fei, and said with a smile, "To our great cause, cheers!"

"Cheers!"

Shen Fei had barely taken a sip when he frowned deeply. The glass in his hand instantly fell and shattered, while at the same time, the shield in his right hand knocked Klaw's glass away.

"Don't drink it. There's something wrong with it!"

But Klaw had already swallowed two mouthfuls. Startled by Shen Fei's actions, he was just about to ask what was going on.

The secretary pulled a small gun from her heaving chest and fired at Klaw. Shen Fei immediately blocked it with his shield.

Klaw's arm immediately began transforming. It became like a shockwave emitter, pulsing once before blasting toward the secretary. Instantly, blood flowed from her seven orifices, and she collapsed to the ground.

At that moment, security personnel hurried in. "Boss, someone outside is opening fire!"

"Return fire, and prepare to evacuate!"

Klaw growled, clutching his head as dizziness began to set in.

"Looks like Hydra has come knocking! Your secretary was actually Hydra? Doesn't that mean your life and death were in someone else's hands?"

"Stop talking nonsense! Grab your weapons. There's a back route. We'll leave through there!"

"Your secretary was compromised, and you still want to take the back route? Grab the weapons and go through the front! This high-concentration Ether will take time to recover from. Can you hold on?"

Shen Fei rejected Klaw's plan. Klaw clutched his foggy head. Hearing Shen Fei's words, he could only nod. "I can hold on. This way!"

Soon, with Shen Fei supporting him, Klaw led Shen Fei to a warehouse, while the gunfire outside grew increasingly intense.

The warehouse door opened.

Klaw shook his head and hurriedly asked, "What should we take?"

The warehouse contained all sorts of weapons—pistols, rifles, grenades, and even rocket launchers.

"Send all your men charging toward the front entrance. Change clothes! Remember, your arm is powerful now. Don't act like an idiot!"

Shen Fei calmly tossed a bulletproof vest onto Klaw and put one on himself.

Suddenly, he frowned and looked at a figure following behind them. "Save me..."

Daisy had just spoken when Klaw drew a pistol and turned around. Before Daisy's disbelieving eyes, Shen Fei shot her in the forehead. Blood blossomed, and her body fell to the floor.

"You wouldn't hesitate, would you? Right now, apart from the two of us, no one can be trusted!"

Klaw swayed as he put away his pistol.

Only then did Shen Fei realize that Klaw was a trafficker. Just because he treated Shen Fei well because he found him valuable did not mean he had a good nature.

"Is there a side passage?"

"Yes! It leads to the front entrance too!"

Klaw put on the bulletproof vest and picked up a rifle.

Shen Fei hung several grenades from his waist, strapped a rifle across his chest, and held a rocket launcher in his left hand.

Seeing Shen Fei carrying both a rifle and a rocket launcher, Klaw's eyes widened slightly.

Klaw grabbed a Walkie-Talkie and roared, "Everyone, break through the front entrance!"

The two moved quickly, reached a corridor, and pushed open the door.

Shen Fei reacted quickly, raising the shield in his right hand to block every bullet.

With his other hand, he hoisted the rocket launcher onto his shoulder!

"Shen Fei has appeared! Call for backup!"

"Switch to stun guns immediately! Tranquilizer rounds! Capture him alive!"

"Careful! He's carrying a rocket launcher! Spread out!"

Seeing Shen Fei's calm expression as he carried a rocket launcher one-handed, Hydra's men cried out in alarm.

Before they could finish speaking, Shen Fei pulled the trigger.

Boom!

The shell shot forward, followed by a thunderous explosion!

Flesh and blood flew everywhere!

Even the ground trembled faintly.

In an instant.

Half the enemies in front of them were gone.

At the same time, their formation was thrown into disarray.

Shen Fei quickly searched for cover while firing at the enemies. "Move! Don't just stand there!"

Shen Fei shouted. Klaw, who had been stunned by Shen Fei operating a rocket launcher with one hand and ignoring the recoil, hurriedly raised his gun!

Shen Fei calmly blocked all incoming bullets with his shield, pulled the trigger, and sent another rocket flying out.
