Game Over

Shen Fei seemed to have eyes in the back of his head. He swung his longsword behind him and blocked a Military Knife.

With a sweeping strike of his shield, he sent the gun from Bucky's hand flying. Then he kicked Bucky hard, knocking him to the ground.

He pulled his longsword back.

The blade sliced across a Super Soldier's chest, sending hot blood splattering.

The next moment, his shield swept out and smashed another Super Soldier away. He raised his leg high and kicked someone else flying.

The Super Soldier let out a muffled grunt and staggered back several steps.

In an instant, Shen Fei was fighting seven Super Soldiers at once, streaks of cold light flashing one after another.

Two helicopters above sprayed fire, continuously firing bursts at Shen Fei.

Yet Shen Fei remained at ease, as though he could see through everyone's attacks and predict their trajectories.

Though he had only two hands, he could raise an impenetrable defense and even slash out from time to time!

He wounded one Super Soldier after another. The Vibranium-forged longsword was hard and razor-sharp, and coupled with Shen Fei's strength—

It could even cut straight through their bones!

Rogers, who had been hiding in the shadows, froze when he heard the name Bucky. "Bucky?"

He then looked toward Bucky, who was fighting Shen Fei, and the figure before him gradually merged with the one in his memories.

The discovery instantly brought tears to his eyes!

"I'm going to help him. Bucky needs my help!" Rogers said to Barton and Natasha.

"But he's with Hydra!"

"He must have been forced into it!"

Without another word, Rogers found an excuse for Bucky. All he knew was that Bucky needed his help now!

"Barton, cover me! Use Tranquilizer Arrows. Control them first!

"Natasha, support me from the side!"

With that, Rogers leaped into the air and charged toward Shen Fei and the others.

"Your best buddy's here."

Shen Fei had known Rogers would come. But with Rogers's personality, he was probably planning to restrain both sides.

At that moment, an arrow flew over. One Super Soldier had already reacted and was about to dodge when a shield slammed into his kidney.

He let out a muffled groan, his movement stalled for an instant.

An arrow pierced his chest, and he collapsed unconscious.

Barton stared blankly at his Tranquilizer Arrow, which had hit dead center.

Had Shen Fei knocked that guy back into its path just now?

Had that been calculated, or was it a coincidence?

"Nice one, Barton!" Rogers roared. He rolled forward, and the round shield in his hand immediately flew toward Shen Fei.

Shen Fei raised his longsword horizontally and blocked Captain America's shield.

Another Super Soldier fell.

Bucky roared as his Mechanical Arm unleashed punch after punch, continuously smashing against Rogers's shield.

His other hand reached out, trying to grab Rogers's shield.

"Wake up!"

The moment Rogers saw Bucky's eyes, he knew what had happened. Bucky had been brainwashed!

"I'll restrain you first!"

The best friends who had once fought side by side were now fighting each other!

After shaking off Bucky, Shen Fei instantly chopped off a Super Soldier's arm with his longsword, then raised his shield behind him.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

The sound of bullets falling rang out continuously. "Natasha, long time no see."

The one firing was Natasha!

Barton frowned upon hearing Shen Fei's words, but this was not the time to ask questions. He fired arrow after arrow.

Every target was now Shen Fei.

But Shen Fei had already committed everyone's movements to memory. With a sweep of his shield, three Tranquilizer Arrows shot out at even greater speed.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Another Super Soldier slammed into the rain with a bang.

Natasha, who was locked in combat with a Super Soldier, also realized it. It was not that Barton was incredible; Shen Fei seemed to possess the ability to predict things.

In a short time, he had blocked Barton's arrows and even borrowed their force to take down the other enemies.

What kind of brain did he have?

"How can he know when you're about to fire?"

Natasha urgently asked over the comms.

"Shit, how would I know?" Barton gritted his teeth. He was called Hawkeye in the team; he had even fought the Chitauri.

Yet he was being toyed with by this guy.

Barton drew out three arrows, but Shen Fei suddenly smiled at him. "The ability test is over. Game over!"

A huge buzzing sound suddenly rang out.

The rotors of the two helicopters that had been providing light suddenly stalled, and they began falling rapidly.

Rogers, who was fighting Bucky, suddenly sensed that something was terribly wrong.

It was the intuition years on the battlefield had given him.

"Damn it!"

Rogers punched Bucky in the face and roared, "Wake up!"

Bucky's Mechanical Arm blocked Rogers's shield. He seemed intent on continuing the fight, but Rogers grabbed Bucky in a bear hug and roared through the communicator, "Run!"

Natasha heard Rogers.

She immediately threw herself at Barton.

Boom!

A violent explosion erupted across the area, as though the ground itself shook. Towering flames instantly blasted everything around them apart. The rain poured down, yet it could not extinguish the raging inferno.

Still holding Bucky, Rogers instantly raised his shield behind Bucky's back. The terrifying shockwave sent both of them flying.

"Natasha!"

Barton's eyes nearly split apart as he looked at Natasha, who had thrown herself over him. The two of them were tossed aside like discarded trash, and Natasha had taken nearly the entire force of the shockwave.

Blood spilled from her mouth, while flames licked across her entire back, leaving it a mangled mass of blood and flesh.

She passed out. Barton spat out blood and hurriedly held Natasha in his arms.

The stench of scorched protein spread through the air.

"Nata... huh?" Barton looked at Natasha's back and saw an astonishing sight.

Flesh buds continuously spread across her mangled back, repairing the burns left by the flames. The scars fell away, restoring her back to smooth skin.

"Move!"

Rogers picked up Bucky, who had been knocked unconscious by the shockwave, and roared.

The legs that had not been protected by his shield were already a mangled mess.

His powerful will forced him back to his feet.

Barton hurriedly picked up Natasha and followed behind Rogers.

Unable to resist, he turned his head to see how Shen Fei, who had caused the explosion, was doing. Instead, he saw a figure walking out of the flames like a demon emerging from hell.

Shen Fei stood where he was, his clothes burned away. He took an earpiece from his protected chest and said with a smile, "Target Barton."
