Breaking the Deadlock

As Shen Fei kept tapping away at the keyboard, huge amounts of data were downloaded.

He stuffed the copied hard drive into his clothes.

"Time to go!"

Shen Fei murmured, then shot forward.

With a swish, he burst out of the Main Control Room. Security personnel had already been waiting outside, but they were armed only with melee weapons and could not use guns.

Because those were the orders. They needed to capture Shen Fei alive.

If Shen Fei died, they would be buried with him!

But against Shen Fei, now wielding a Tactical Dagger, they could not stop him at all. Every slash of his blade took another life.

In a short time, Shen Fei fought through blood and carnage, charging toward the research institute's main entrance.

Watching this through the surveillance feeds, the Soldier Captain frowned deeply. "Those useless idiots—has the backup not arrived yet?"

Military trucks packed with men sped out of the base and raced toward the research institute.

To avoid drawing the attention of certain nosy people, they deliberately split into more than a dozen teams and took different routes toward the institute.

Inside those military trucks were heavily armed elite veterans, soldiers tempered by years of war.

A Stealth Fighter took off from the Hydra base and sped toward the research institute where Shen Fei was located.

Inside the fighter sat four Super Soldiers. Their eyes were cold and lifeless, their posture perfectly upright, like robots programmed in advance.
