After giving Max his instructions, Shen Fei came to where the test subjects were being held. Only Jessica and Logan remained inside.
It was time to deal with Jessica.
Logan's lower body had regained its human form, though he looked much older. Jessica, meanwhile, sat there with vacant eyes.
"What the hell are you here for again?!"
Logan roared. These past few days had driven him nearly insane. He had been locked up here and ignored, with nothing more than some disgusting Nutrient Solution delivered each day.
He even found himself missing the days when he was experimented on. At least someone had talked to him then.
Even if they had only been asking about how he felt, it had made him feel valued.
But now, he had been tossed here like a useless piece of trash.
Shen Fei did not even spare him a glance. He was nothing but chewing gum.
Shen Fei would deal with him after obtaining the complete Self-healing Ability.
Instead, he looked at Jessica. "I'll give you one chance. Submit to me, or be destroyed as useless experimental material."
But Jessica continued staring blankly ahead, giving no response whatsoever to Shen Fei's words.
Shen Fei shook his head. "Then I'll wake you up first."
All at once, the ventilation equipment shut completely, and a massive amount of water flooded into the cage. Shen Fei watched quietly as the water rose from Jessica's calves to her waist, then to her neck.
Jessica remained blank-eyed.
"No response? Then wait for death."
Shen Fei spoke calmly. In his eyes, Super Heroes were merely stepping stones for his own rise. Matt had already been dealt with by Bullseye.
The Green Goblin had submitted to him.
Only Jessica remained. If she knew what was good for her, he would gain
