Klaw did not laugh at Shen Fei's gesture. Given the information Shen Fei had revealed and the abilities he had displayed so far, he was clearly not someone with a broken mind.
Yet he had still acted like this.
That meant he had something to rely on.
Soon, a man in a white lab coat hurried out and whispered something into Klaw's ear.
Klaw's eyes lit up slightly before he looked at Shen Fei again. "This is the real deal. It interfaces perfectly with the human nervous system. It'd be worth quite a bit if sold.
And you're just giving it to me?"
Shen Fei glanced at the man in the lab coat. He was clearly a technician. It seemed Klaw had verified that it was complete, which was why he was now interested in talking.
"It's just a piece of technology. It'll be developed sooner or later anyway. Aren't you researching it too? I imagine you've been at it for quite some time.
As for money? Is a mechanical arm worth more than all of Wakanda?"
Shen Fei's words made Klaw sit up straight from his reclined position. Staring at Shen Fei, he asked, "How much do you know?"
"Far more than you imagine. For example, the brand on your neck, the Vibranium you stole, and your plans for revenge... hm, Eric Killmonger."
As Klaw listened to Shen Fei, the indifference in his eyes turned into utter shock, with even a trace of fear mixed in. He could not help blurting out, "How do you know?!"
It would not have been strange if someone knew about the brand or the source of the Vibranium. Everyone in Wakanda had known about that back then.
But his revenge plan and Eric Killmonger were another matter.
No one besides him and Eric Killmonger should have known. Could Eric Killmonger have betrayed him?
Shen Fei smiled. "There are always some special people in this world. You know that too, don't you?"
Klaw took a deep breath. Shen Fei's words had clearly told him that Shen Fei was one of those people.
Since he dealt in Vibranium, he had come into contact with countless people, though most of those connections had been superficial. The ones that had left the deepest impression on him were naturally Ultron and the Avengers.
"What did you mean earlier? Black Panther?"
"Wakanda's current protector. The son of the previous Black Panther. T'Challa is about to lead Wakanda into the public eye.
And he is also someone S.H.I.E.L.D. has been keeping an eye on.
If the two sides establish contact, and you happen to have a massive amount of Vibranium in your hands, do you think you might become a target of S.H.I.E.L.D.?
The charge would be disrupting friendly relations between two nations."
Shen Fei's words left Klaw somewhat dazed. There was such a way of putting it?
"What do you want?"
Klaw had begun to believe Shen Fei. The key was the revenge plan Shen Fei had mentioned.
He had also seen the Avengers. If they came after him, he probably would not be able to escape.
This guy could casually reveal so much relevant intelligence, so he definitely had some skills. But Klaw was still a businessman.
Whether it was the gift or the intelligence, Shen Fei was simply trying to raise his bargaining chips before the deal.
"A Vibranium Shield. A Vibranium Shield like the Captain's."
"A shield?"
Klaw frowned. "That's no small amount of Vibranium. Your intelligence isn't enough for that.
Add another ten million. Consider it a discount."
The amount of Vibranium needed to make a shield was no small sum. Though Shen Fei's intelligence was valuable, it was far from enough to equal a Vibranium Shield.
Shen Fei naturally did not have ten million, but he had another method. "I don't have any money on me."
Klaw slammed his only remaining hand onto the table with a deafening bang. Like a hyena that had been toyed with, he stared at Shen Fei.
He said coldly, "Are you screwing with me?"
The guards around them also fixed their eyes on Shen Fei. At a single command from their boss, they would immediately take him down.
"I told you, I'm offering this." Shen Fei tapped his head. "There must be problems your people haven't been able to solve.
I can help you crack them."
Shen Fei tapped his head again. This was how Shen Fei made his fortune.
To fleece a wolf barehanded, one needed either strength or intelligence.
He preferred intelligence.
As for strength, he would not need long to kill everyone here.
The moment Klaw had brought him onto the car, Klaw had not known that his life was already in Shen Fei's hands.
But Shen Fei needed a partner. At the moment, Klaw—wealthy yet weak at protecting himself—was the best choice.
As for Klaw being an arms dealer?
Come on. How else was anyone supposed to make money in the United States if not by selling weapons?
"What a joke. For the sake of your gift and your intelligence, get the hell out of here."
Klaw sneered. He no longer believed Shen Fei's words. This was clearly a con artist trying to get something for nothing.
As for the design blueprint for that mechanical arm, it had probably come from who knew where.
Shen Fei was not wrong. Since Klaw himself possessed a large amount of Vibranium, he naturally researched all kinds of Vibranium-related technology.
But although he had money, his connections were not particularly extensive. The technicians he had hired were not especially capable, and Vibranium itself had extremely unusual properties.
Researching it was fraught with difficulties.
Yet this guy claimed he could solve them.
"Why not give it a try? I'm already here. If I can't do it, you can kill me whenever you want. But if I succeed, you'll gain a powerful ally, along with plenty of things you want."
Shen Fei was in no hurry as he spoke with a smile.
The powerful learning ability and rationality granted to him by the Lord of Scientific Research meant he would not lose his temper at all.
Seeing Shen Fei remain so calm even now, Klaw stared at him and said, "Fine. If you can't solve it—
I'll kill you."
"Fine."
"Laudsen, lead the way. Take him to the Sonic Arm. Didn't you just run into a problem? Let him take a look."
The technician beside them looked at Shen Fei with contempt and said jokingly, "Do you need a few years to go over our research data?"
Was this yellow-skinned monkey here to make them laugh?
How could something they had researched for so long possibly be understood in such a short time?
It involved a vast amount of academic research and experimental data.
"No need. What you've researched isn't very difficult." Shen Fei naturally noticed Laudsen's contemptuous expression. In the eyes of these white pigs,
they were the ones with the greatest talent for scientific research. Chinese people were merely good at taking tests, but scientific research was not taking tests.
"Anyway, it won't be my life on the line."
Laudsen smiled, a cold gleam flashing through his eyes. This yellow-skinned monkey was actually this arrogant. Later, he would ask the boss to let him shoot this guy personally.
Shen Fei glanced at Laudsen. After being injected with the Super Soldier Serum, he had become somewhat keenly sensitive to danger. This guy meant him harm!
