Soro closed his eyes and let his consciousness sink into his body.

The skill icon was clearly visible in the lower-right corner of his vision. The [Battle Power ×50] icon hovered there quietly, glowing faintly.

Soro immediately tried tapping the [Battle Power ×50] skill.

In the blink of an eye, the skill icon turned black and white, like a lamp that had been switched off.

"Whoosh!"

A crushing pressure instantly swept over his entire body.

The pressure was many times stronger than before, as if an entire mountain had come crashing down on him.

Soro was nearly forced to crouch on the spot. His knees bent, his teeth clenched, veins faintly bulging on his forehead as his breathing grew rapid.

Then Soro tapped the [Battle Power ×50] passive skill again.

In an instant, the skill icon returned to full color, and its glow came back.

The pressure quickly disappeared, and his body felt light again.

So that was how it worked!

Soro was overjoyed, a grin spreading across his face.

If he trained constantly with a battle power of 50,000, his base battle power would surely increase slowly.

But if he honed his body while his battle power was only 1,000, his base battle power would definitely increase by leaps and bounds.

And sure enough, that was exactly what happened!

Soro clenched his fist, felt the power suppressed within him, then relaxed his hand.

After training in the Gravity Training Room for a full three hours, Soro finally came out, drenched in sweat.

He pushed open the metal door and stepped out, his legs feeling heavy. His clothes were soaked through and clung to his skin, and beads of sweat trickled from his forehead down the tip of his nose.

As soon as he left the training room, Soro spotted Bulma standing in the sunlight.

The sunlight shone from behind her, casting a long shadow across the ground.

"Bulma, get me something to eat. I'm starving!" Soro panted, his voice tinged with exhaustion.

"Go prepare something to eat," Bulma ordered the chef robot at her side, pointing toward the kitchen.

The chef robot's eyes flashed. It let out a beep, then immediately turned and hurried off to get things ready.

"How's your training going, Soro?" Bulma asked with concern, thoughtfully handing him a bottle of mineral water.

"Thanks." Soro accepted the bottle.

He unscrewed the cap, tilted his head back, and took a long, satisfying drink.

A drop of water slid from the corner of his mouth, ran down his chin, and fell to the ground.

Not bad, Soro thought, feeling pleased.

He'd originally thought he was a lost cause.

Turns out, the problem was his environment.

It was incredibly difficult to improve his strength on Atlantis Planet.

But training in the Gravity Training Room was a whole different story.

It felt as if he were a fish in water.

"You're already so strong, yet you still train so hard," Bulma remarked, folding her arms.

"I have a bad feeling." Soro's voice grew a little low as he gazed into the distance. "This trip to Namek won't be as simple as we think!"

"Really?" Bulma froze and tilted her head. "Are the Namekians that strong?"

"It might not be the Namekians." Soro shook his head, his brows drawing together slightly. "It could also be some evil organization from the depths of the universe."

"That's terrifying..." Bulma's mouth twitched. She stuck out her tongue in fright and tapped a finger against her lips. "Maybe I shouldn't go after all..."

"Mm." Soro nodded and looked at Bulma. "You'd better stay here."

He didn't think Bulma should come along to Namek.

The chef robot soon brought out all sorts of special dishes.

The tray was piled high with plates, steam rising from the food.

Soro dug in, his chopsticks flying as he swept the dishes off the table like a whirlwind.

"By the way... Soro, do you have a twin brother?" Bulma asked suddenly, blinking at him.

"No." Soro shook his head, then asked, "Why?"

"N-nothing... When I was ten, someone with the same first and last name as you saved me. But I can't remember what he looked like." Bulma rubbed her head and told him the truth.

"What if I traveled through time and went back to when you were ten?" Soro chuckled.

Bulma stared at Soro blankly, her beautiful eyes blinking rapidly. Suddenly, what he said seemed to make a lot of sense.

"I'm full." Soro put down his chopsticks and stood up from his chair. "I'm going out for a bit."

"Pa!"

As he spoke, Soro immediately rose into the air, his feet leaving the ground as he hovered overhead.

"Huh?" Bulma blinked and looked up, shielding her eyes from the sunlight with one hand. "Where are you going?"

"I'm going to find Krillin!" Soro looked down at Bulma with a smile.

"Krillin?" Bulma looked a little bewildered, her brows furrowing. "What do you want with him?"

"To have a little spar." Soro grinned, showing off his pearly white teeth.

Bulma: "..."

Bulma froze, her mouth slightly open and her eyes wide.

You have a battle power of 50,000, and you're going to challenge Krillin, who only has 1,700?

Bulma pictured Krillin getting beaten until he was rolling on the ground.

"Krillin hasn't done anything to you, has he?" Bulma asked anxiously, her voice rising.

"I'm off." Soro didn't bother to say anything else. He moved, turning into a streak of light as he flew swiftly toward the island where Master Roshi lived.

In the blink of an eye, he disappeared into the sky, leaving behind only a faint trail of disturbed air.

Bulma stood where she was, gazing up at the spot where Soro had vanished.

She silently wiped the sweat from her brow, then mourned Krillin for ten seconds.

When had Krillin offended Soro?

Would he get beaten to death?

He probably wouldn't...

Soro didn't seem like a bad guy.

Bulma bit her lip, her brows knitted together.

She hesitated for a moment.

"Hey!" Bulma cupped her hands around her mouth and called out, "Do you know where Krillin is?"

"I do." Soro's voice carried back from far away, echoing through the air.

Bulma's expression stiffened a little, and her mouth twitched. Then she immediately shook her head.

Should she call Krillin and tell him to go somewhere else for a while?

Master Roshi's island.

Waves slapped against the rocks along the shore, making a splashing sound.

The sea breeze carried a salty smell as it swept through the trees on the island.

Krillin was practicing his punches and kicks in the air.

His fists drew one arc after another, each punch carrying a burst of force.

When he kicked, a small cloud of sand blew up from the ground.

Sweat ran down his bald head and dripped onto the beach.

Master Roshi sat in a reclining chair, holding a magazine. It was impossible to tell what he was looking at behind his Sunglasses.

Sea Turtle lay on the beach, its head stretched out as it stared at Krillin without blinking.

"Ha!"

A sphere of energy gathered between Krillin's hands, pulsing in his palms with a sizzling sound.

He thrust his arms forward, and the energy shot toward the distant sea at incredible speed, leaving a trail of light behind it.

"Whoosh!"

The energy raced across the sea, cutting through the water and leaving a long white streak along the surface.

The waves surged to either side and took several seconds to close again.

Krillin took a deep breath, his chest rising and falling. He scratched his head and grinned at Master Roshi, showing two rows of teeth.
