Background / History

Piccolo is one of the last defenders standing during Vegeta and Nappa’s attack on Earth. He remains focused on the enemy while Krillin panics, devises a plan to exploit a Saiyan’s tail weakness, and urges Gohan to fight despite the boy’s fear. 4 6

When Soro arrives and attacks the Saiyans, Piccolo remains cautious of the unfamiliar Saiyan rather than immediately trusting him. He analyzes Soro’s deceptively low ki and later helps Krillin and Gohan escape the repeated blinding bursts of Soro’s Flash Technique. 8 10 11 13
