Although it has been almost 2 days since we arrived at the 8th Fleet station, as everyone discussed internally after meeting the advance fleet 4 days ago:

Kira·Yamato 'Second Lieutenant''s application for voluntary enlistment and discharge was completed almost immediately upon arrival at 8th Fleet's station;

However, although the voluntary enlistment of Orb and the other four people, also to avoid the military court, was "irrespective of cause and effect", the discharge application was still "processing" as expected.
