Luther's 'Self-Talk' Before the Battle

Although the Time Observer had already observed Rau Le Creuset launching in that strange-looking CGUE, it would still take some time for the two sides to close the distance to combat range. Luther, inside the Time Observer, was in no rush; he even had time to indulge in some self-reflection.

More importantly, although the conflict has indeed been intensified to the level of race or even species under the deliberate manipulation of interested parties, the number of people actually on the front lines of the conflict is not that large.

Moreover, the Coordinator side, which is smaller in number, has great difficulty even with natural reproduction, and there is no complete reproductive isolation from Naturals. In the long run, can they really exist independently as a new species or even just a new race?

So, the reason the CE status quo has reached this point, besides people deliberately sowing discord, is mainly because the high-level officials on both sides misjudged the other's determination, leading to a 'game of chicken' that went out of control.

If there were a suitable way out, and no one was fanning the flames, there would still be room for both sides to reach a consensus through compromise and negotiation.

As for the ability gap between Coordinators and Naturals, which appears to be the core of the conflict, it is actually no greater than the difference between a genius and an ordinary person.

After all, the level of creating Coordinators in the CE can only be considered a tentative step from zero to one in genetic ascension. At the very least, being able to stably mass-produce Kira Yamato without causing reproductive difficulties would count as truly completing the most preliminary 'genetic tailoring' technology. I'm not even asking for 'designed evolution' standards here!

So the reason Naturals are so easily incited now is that someone deliberately packaged the existing class conflict as a racial or even species conflict to gain profit.
