She was probably only too embarrassed to say it because Ran and Yukiko Kudo were there. After all, Ran was her daughter. If she admitted she was scared, it would be far too humiliating.

Soon, they boarded the roller coaster. Each row seated only two people, so Chen and Eri sat in the last row, while Ran and Yukiko sat in front of them.
Excitement flashed in Yukiko's eyes. Just looking at her, anyone could tell how thrilled she was.
