"You don't need to take me there." Ai Haibara spoke to Chen flatly, her tone seeming somewhat cold.
Well, it wasn't just seeming cold—it was cold, devoid of any emotion.
"Tsk, tsk, Ai is still angry." Akako Koizumi smiled at Chen. Seeing the amused look on Akako's face, Chen suddenly had the urge to give her a beating.
Instead of helping him out at a time like this, she was actually enjoying the show.
Well, Akako was a little upset too. More precisely, she was jealous. So rather than helping Chen, it was already good enough that she had not personally taught him a lesson.
Ai walked toward the school with a cold expression. Chen watched her back, then ultimately followed after her.
He went up and took Ai's hand, smiling faintly at her before saying, "Come on. I won't feel at ease letting you go to school alone."
"Hmph, do you take me for a child?" Ai snorted coldly. However, after that snort, her expression looked much better, no longer as icy as before.
She simply did not want Chen to notice, so she did her best to look as though she were still very unhappy.
More accurately, she was being tsundere. There was nothing to be done about it—Ai had always been this tsundere.
After taking Ai to school, Chen and Akako headed toward their own school.
"By the way, it seems Judy hasn't come by these past few days." Chen suddenly remembered that Judy had not seemed to visit his home lately to study ninjutsu.
"How has she not? It's because you haven't been home much these past few days, so you think Teacher Judy hasn't come. In fact, Teacher Judy comes every day."
Akako said to Chen.
"Oh, right. I shouldn't call her Teacher Judy now.
