Ai's face flushed slightly, and she shot Shin an irritated glare.
Shin did not care about Ai's glare at all. Instead, he began wondering whether he should teach her a lesson.
Lying Was Becoming More and More Natural
At Beika Hospital, Kaito Kuroba packed up his things and walked out. Today was the day he was being discharged.
Thinking about his hospitalization, Kaito felt utterly unlucky. He had taken the fall for Shinichi Kudo for no reason at all.
The moment Kaito stepped out of the hospital, he saw Yusaku Kudo waiting for him, and he could not help frowning.
In truth, Kaito no longer wanted anything to do with Yusaku. He had previously considered using Yusaku's power to deal with Hyuga Shin.
But he had now abandoned that idea. That did not mean he would stop targeting Hyuga Shin.
He simply no longer wanted to work with Yusaku. The main reason, naturally, was the resentment in his heart. Being hospitalized after getting shot had left him unwilling to have anything more to do with Yusaku.
"What are you here for?"
Kaito asked Yusaku flatly.
"I came to pick you up after your discharge. I imagine you have nowhere to go, so how about staying at my house?" Yusaku's eyes flickered.
"No need. I'm guessing Shinichi Kudo offended some huge organization. I'd still like to live a little longer."
Kaito refused outright, then left without giving Yusaku a chance to say anything else.
Though he did not know why Yusaku had come looking for him, Kaito's instincts told him that it could not be anything good. He did not want to
