Kaito Kuroba was actually rather conceited himself.
"Isn't the matter at hand finding Aoko? Let's talk about that," Kaito Kuroba said to Ginzo Nakamori.
"Do you know who Aoko's closest classmates are?" Ginzo Nakamori asked Kaito Kuroba.
Since Aoko was not with Kaito Kuroba, she had to be with one of her other classmates.
"I do know that." Kaito Kuroba nodded. There was no way he would not know even that.
"Then give me their addresses, and I'll go look," Ginzo Nakamori said with a nod, instructing Kaito Kuroba.
"Wait, I'm coming too. I'm worried about Aoko as well."
Kaito Kuroba was, of course, serious.
"Fine, come with me. If we can't find Aoko, I'll kill that bastard Phantom Thief Kid," Ginzo Nakamori said angrily, punching the wall.
"What does this have to do with Phantom Thief Kid?" Kaito Kuroba could not help feeling displeased.
"Hmph. If it weren't for that bastard Phantom Thief Kid, I wouldn't have had to work overtime, wouldn't have missed Aoko's birthday, and Aoko wouldn't have gotten angry and run away from home," Ginzo Nakamori snorted.
Ginzo Nakamori then glanced at Kaito Kuroba. He remembered that this kid seemed to be a fan of Phantom Thief Kid.
He disliked people like that, worshipping a thief of all people.
But how could Ginzo Nakamori know that Kaito Kuroba did not admire Phantom Thief Kid—he admired himself, because he was Phantom Thief Kid.
"Sir, if we're being serious, this seems to have nothing to do with Phantom Thief Kid. You should blame yourself instead," Kaito Kuroba said irritably.
He could not just stand by and let Ginzo Nakamori pin the blame on him. It had absolutely nothing to do with him. Ginzo Nakamori had chosen to chase after him, wasting his own time. If he had not
