"Ran, let's go watch it together. There's nothing to be afraid of." Sonoko hugged Ran as she spoke.
"Sorry, Sonoko, but I absolutely refuse to watch a horror movie. They're just too scary. I'll have nightmares at night." Ran firmly refused.
"How about we vote to decide?" Unwilling to give up just like that, Sonoko simply suggested a vote.

Ran and Sonoko did not object to Chen abstaining. If he didn't abstain and the vote ended up two against two, that would be difficult to handle.
"Chen abstained, but Kazuha, you can't abstain," Sonoko said to Kazuha.
"Of course. I definitely won't abstain." Kazuha nodded, then gave Ran an apologetic smile before saying, "I choose to watch the horror movie."
Well, both Kazuha and Sonoko wanted to go. Ran gave a bitter smile. It seemed she could only go along with them, but deep down, she really didn't want to.
"Ran, I think you should work on building up your courage."
Sonoko spoke to Ran. Ran wasn't afraid of blood, but she was terrified
