Watching the Nine-Tails struggle, Hyuga Shin sighed from a distance. Wasn't this guy supposed to be incredibly powerful in the future? Why was he as pathetic as a dog now?
"It looks like getting the Nine-Tails' chakra this time is impossible. I'll have to wait until later." With another sigh, Hyuga Shin prepared to leave.
Just then, the situation took a turn. The Nine-Tails suddenly surged with power and broke free of the Adamantine Sealing Chains, then swept Mito Uzumaki away with its tail.
Mito Uzumaki had already been at death's door. After the Nine-Tails' attack, she was left with only a breath of life and no ability to seal it.
"Grandma!" Tsunade rushed over and caught Mito Uzumaki. Her face filled with grief as she glared at the Nine-Tails with hatred.
Mito Uzumaki smiled faintly. "You don't need to hate the Nine-Tails. It isn't bad by nature. It's human greed that made it stop trusting people. I've kept it imprisoned for so many years; I'm the one who owes it. If it wants to leave, let it go."
With that, Mito Uzumaki closed her eyes with a smile.
Sensing that Mito Uzumaki's presence had vanished, the Nine-Tails fell silent for a moment before saying, "I never wanted to kill you with my own hands, but you forced me to."
Turning to the people of Konoha, the Nine-Tails unleashed its chakra. The force, vast as an ocean, blew away the shinobi who were still trying to seal it.
"For Mito Uzumaki's sake, let me leave, and I won't kill you." The Nine-Tails' tails lashed wildly, its gaze haughty.
With Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha gone, the Nine-Tails didn't believe anyone in Konoha could stop it.
"Since when do you get to leave? Move in and capture the Nine-Tails!" Danzo ordered.
