Yhwach's mind went blank, and he was sent flying like a rag doll.

A trace of panic appeared on Yhwach's face. He discovered that The Almighty—his ability to alter the future—had stopped working.

It was as though he could no longer use it. His greatest reliance had failed him, and even Yhwach could not suppress his panic.

But when he remembered that he had come here through the Shadow Domain, Yhwach suddenly let out a breath of relief.

The Shadow Domain was an ability that used black shadows to transfer a person or object into another space.

However, it could only last for a limited time. Once the time was up, the black shadow would envelop the person or object that had used the Shadow Domain and forcibly return them to their original space.

In the original story, it was precisely this limitation that gave the Soul Reapers time to catch their breath.

But now, that limitation had instead become what Yhwach believed to be his lifeline.

Having realized he could not win, Yhwach could only think of fleeing. Once he had gathered enough power, he would come back to take revenge on Shin.

That was what Yhwach thought, but unfortunately, he did not know that Shin had already sealed off the surrounding space. Returning was no longer possible for him.

The Shadow Domain was also a spatial ability, and under a spatial seal, it was completely useless.

Now that he had come here, unless Shin willingly let him leave, Yhwach had no means of escaping.

And Shin would not let him go. He wanted to obtain all of Yhwach's Quincy abilities—how could he possibly allow Yhwach to escape?
