Bright yellow rays flooded the sky, turning the entire heavens a warm golden hue. Against this world-changing backdrop, an elegant and regal woman slowly sat up from within the coffin.
Zhongchuan Yaoguang wore a golden crown and a bright yellow imperial robe embroidered with the magnificent mountains and rivers of the cultivation world's seven continents. Her eyes were clear, her gaze devoid of emotion. After sweeping her eyes over her surroundings, she ignored Zhongchuan Xian and the others standing respectfully nearby. Instead, she looked toward the dark golden coffin beside her, a gentle smile appearing at the corner of her lips.
"Why have you awakened me?"
Empress Yaoguang finally turned her attention to Zhongchuan Xian and the others and asked.
Her voice was clear and gentle, yet to everyone's ears, it carried an unquestionable, supreme majesty.
"Your Majesty Yaoguang, I am the ninety-fifth emperor of Central River. I had no choice but to awaken you. The Central River Empire is now beset by crises on all sides and needs your aid to quell the chaos," Zhongchuan Xian said respectfully.
Before Yaoguang, he did not dare refer to himself as "We" any longer and could only observe the etiquette of a junior.
"My realm is beset by crises on all sides?" Zhongchuan Yaoguang's eyes flickered slightly. The next moment, she leaped straight out of the coffin, her imperial robe's train stretching dozens of meters behind her as she floated high in the sky.
At that moment, incomparable majesty erupted from Zhongchuan Yaoguang. Hovering in the air, she replaced the sun and became the sky's sole source of light.
