One Hundred Thousand Black Zetsu

"Th-This is..." Lin Chuan stared at the countless black corpses before him, then at the eerie smile on Zetsu's face, and was completely stunned.

"Master, I discovered that these corpses are extremely obsessed with Sage Chakra, and they possess no intelligence. That allows me to easily control them using the Spiritual Fusion Technique!" Black Zetsu's hoarse voice carried a rare trace of excitement.

Though these corpses did not number a hundred thousand, there were still several hundred, perhaps even a thousand. If Black Zetsu could truly control them, the future intelligence network of the [Akatsuki] organization would be limitless.

In the original Naruto, there had been a hundred thousand White Zetsu clones. Yet in this cultivation world, the number of White Zetsu clones had not even reached double digits, while Black Zetsu had gotten ahead by taking a shortcut and obtaining a large number of clones. This was excellent news for Lin Chuan.

"Are you sure you can control them completely?" Lin Chuan asked after taking a deep breath. Although Zetsu must have been highly confident to do this, Lin Chuan still had to ask. This was no small matter; if someone set them up, the consequences would be grave.

"I can!" Zetsu replied firmly.

"The corpses I controlled had not been marked with anyone's aura. As for those that had already been marked, I sensed another power within them—or rather, they had developed a certain degree of intelligence. I didn't touch them!" Black Zetsu explained.

Lin Chuan nodded and did not interfere much with these suddenly acquired Black Zetsu clones.

"You can handle the matter of these clones yourself. Also, I'll leave the task of finding those special corpses to you. It should be much easier now!" Lin Chuan said as he looked at the numerous black corpses.
