After Qin Lang and the others left the Immortal Mansion, they did not go far from the teleportation site. Since Lin Chuan would likely emerge from there later, they found a nearby place to cultivate and recover.
At this point, none of them knew that the Immortal Mansion had begun to collapse. Unlike Fengjin Valley, where the Immortal Mansion's space could be seen clearly, they could see nothing here.
Yet that sense of dread made Qin Lang and Meng Jingxian increasingly afraid that something had happened.

Just as the two were consumed by anxiety, the space in the distance tore open. A figure clad in a black cloak patterned with red clouds stepped out, carrying someone on his back.
"See? I told you they'd be fine!" Seeing someone emerge, Qin Lang finally let out the breath he had been holding and immediately circulated his spiritual energy as he rushed forward.
However, as soon as that figure emerged from the spatial passage, the tear in space sealed shut. No one else came out.
Qin Lang and Meng Jingxian's hearts instantly trembled. More than just two people had remained in the Immortal Mansion.
"Southern Dipper... you... where are Azure Dragon and the others?" Qin Lang stared at Ling Hong, who had collapsed to the ground in a daze. His face flushed crimson, and his mind went utterly blank.
"Azure Dragon... is dead..." Southern Dipper stared blankly into the distance. There was no focus in his amber eyes, and his spirit seemed utterly shattered.
"Impossible!
