Ch. 501Bone Lord Malek Darkbone

Su Han and Necromancer Karen faced the arrival of the Bone Lord, Malek Darkbone, after Su Han had nearly exhausted his power defeating the Bone-Corrode Knight and Bone Dragon Mo Lin. The Bone Lord advanced with a massive undead army, leaving Su Han and Karen braced for a desperate fight.

  • Necromancer Karen recognized the approaching pressure as the Bone Lord's and panicked when he realized Malek Darkbone had come in person.
  • Su Han concealed his exhaustion, rejected retreat, and ordered Karen to recover and prepare every defensive spell he could.
  • Karen summoned scattered bones into a crude wall and covered it with a fragile veil of Undead Energy.
  • A deep horn sounded as elite skeletal warriors and thousands of ghostly units advanced across the battlefield.
  • Malek Darkbone arrived seated on a throne of bones, carrying a scepter topped with a pulsing dark heart.

Ch. 502Chaos Barrier

Su Han and Karen faced Bone Lord Malgor, whose legion struck them with a devastating combined attack. Badly wounded and nearly out of Chaos Power, Su Han forced himself to drive the Chaos Core as Malgor prepared another strike.

  • Bone Lord Malgor confronted Su Han over the deaths of Blackscale and the Bone-Eating Commander, then ordered a legion attack.
  • Su Han formed a Chaos Barrier while Karen raised bone defenses against the Nether Giant Axe.
  • The legion strike shattered Karen’s defenses and wounded him, then broke through Su Han’s barrier and hurled him into the rocks.
  • Malgor prepared an even stronger attack as Su Han struggled to rise, badly injured and nearly out of power.
  • Su Han rejected the prospect of dying and frantically drove the Chaos Core, ignoring the danger to his body.

Ch. 503Chaos Burst

Su Han unleashed his uncontrolled Deep Chaos Power and tore apart the Nether Giant Axe phantom, forcing Bone Lord Malgor to recognize him as a threat. As Karen raised fallen undead to delay the enemy army, Su Han fought through the horde, growing badly wounded and exhausting his power before hurling an unstable spear at several Skeletal Mages.

  • Su Han released Deep Chaos Power and used Chaos Tear to rip apart the Nether Giant Axe phantom.
  • Bone Lord Malgor sensed the dangerous power, abandoned his contempt, and ordered the Undead Legion to crush Su Han.
  • Karen used Undead Awakening to raise the remains of fallen undead and send them against the advancing army.
  • Su Han charged into the Undead Legion, annihilating skeletal warriors and ghosts with concentrated Chaos Power while the undead overwhelmed his defenses and injured him.
  • Su Han formed an unstable gray-black spear and hurled it at several Skeletal Mages with Chaos Burst.

Ch. 504Tenacious Bug!

Su Han devoured Bone Lord Malgor’s Death Orb with the Chaos Core, transforming its power and launching a fierce counterattack. Their final clash badly wounded both of them as Su Han reached Blackstone City, where Malgor abandoned the pursuit.

  • Bone Lord Malgor rose from his throne and fired a devastating Death Orb at an exhausted Su Han.
  • Su Han charged into the Death Orb and used the Chaos Core to devour its Death Origin, nearly destroying himself in the process.
  • The Chaos Core transformed and grew stronger, restoring Su Han and giving his Chaos Power deathly properties.
  • Su Han broke through Malgor’s deathly claw and seven layers of defenses, then clashed with the Bone Lord’s origin attack.
  • The explosion devastated the battlefield, badly wounded Malgor, and hurled Su Han toward Blackstone City, where he lost consciousness.
  • Malgor gathered his remaining troops instead of pursuing Su Han, wary of the city’s defenders and Su Han’s power.

Ch. 505The Chilling Presence

Su Han survived his fall and fought off the Bone Lord’s skeletal cleaners, then found the badly wounded Karen as stronger undead forces approached. Blackstone City’s defenders rescued them after Su Han weakened a Winged Bone Dragon and a golden-armored warrior killed a pursuing Skeletal Elephant, but the Bone Lord remained a threat.

  • Bone Lord Malgor abandoned his pursuit of Su Han as Blackstone City’s defenses began to glow, while Su Han recovered in a crater through the Chaos Core’s conversion of Death Energy.
  • Su Han destroyed three skeletal warriors with Chaos Power and a newly formed layer of scales on his left arm, then sensed powerful undead reinforcements approaching.
  • Su Han found Karen beneath shattered bones, treated his injuries, and tried to lead him toward Blackstone City as three Winged Bone Dragons attacked.
  • Su Han drained the leading Winged Bone Dragon’s Death Energy, then fled with Karen before a Skeletal Elephant struck them and shattered his arm’s protective scales.
  • A golden-armored warrior from Blackstone City killed the Skeletal Elephant with an arrow, and the city’s defenders opened the gates and escorted Su Han and Karen inside.

Ch. 506Reconnaissance

Su Han entered Blackstone City and learned that fifty thousand undead were attacking its depleted defenses. Though badly injured, he helped repel the assault at the north gate, where the defense barrier was close to breaking.

  • Su Han entered Blackstone City's command center, where the White-haired Mage treated him and reported that Bone Lord Malgor had joined forces with an undead legion of at least fifty thousand.
  • Karen asked how many defenders remained, and the golden-armored warrior said fewer than fifteen thousand could still fight.
  • When the undead began attacking with Death Mist and magic, Su Han went with the golden-armored warrior to defend the north gate.
  • The White-haired Mage raised a blue barrier against the Bone Arrows and Death Mist, while three Skeletal Elephants advanced and hurled flaming skulls at the wall.
  • Su Han used Chaos Power to pierce the leading Skeletal Elephant's legs and topple it, then prepared an energy claw as the golden-armored warrior drew the other elephants' attention.

Ch. 507Blood Battle!

Su Han defeated the last two Skeletal Elephants attacking Blackstone City, with Karen helping create an opening before Su Han collapsed from his injuries. After recovering in the fortress, Su Han learned the undead had temporarily retreated and prepared to face Bone Lord Malgor’s next attack.

  • Su Han devoured Death Energy and split the second Skeletal Elephant’s skull with an energy blade, but the final elephant broke through the blue barrier and attacked the city wall.
  • Karen hurled a spear into the final Skeletal Elephant’s eye socket, giving Su Han time to smash its skull and destroy its Ghost Fire.
  • Su Han was thrown into the city wall and lost consciousness after defeating the elephant.
  • Su Han awoke in the fortress and learned from Karen that the White-haired Mage had stabilized his injuries with a Healing Crystal and the undead had temporarily retreated.
  • Su Han felt stronger as his Chaos Core recovered and told Karen to prepare his weapons for the next battle against Bone Lord Malgor.

Ch. 508Three Days Later

Three days after the previous attack, Su Han led Blackstone City's defense against a much larger Undead Army and helped drive it back. The city celebrated the victory, but Bone Lord Malgor had not yet entered the battle, and Su Han expected the next fight to be harder.

  • Su Han ordered Blackstone City's soldiers, mages, and archers to prepare as the Undead Army approached in far greater numbers than before.
  • Su Han leaped into the enemy ranks, destroying Skeletal Soldiers and fighting off Skeletal Elephants and the Three-headed Bone Lion.
  • Karen led knights into battle while the White-haired Mage and other mages supported Su Han from the city wall.
  • Su Han destroyed the Three-headed Bone Lion and the remaining Skeletal Elephants, causing the Undead Army to retreat.
  • Karen pursued the fleeing undead as Su Han, nearly out of Chaos Power and with his chest wound throbbing, returned to Blackstone City and warned that Bone Lord Malgor had yet to act.

  • Su Han saw the Necromancer fire a pitch-black beam at the White-haired Mage's back.

Ch. 510Ambush (2)

Su Han took a death-power beam meant for him and fought on while the Necromancer summoned a Skeleton Giant. He struck the giant’s eye socket, but it retaliated as the battle continued.

  • Su Han blocked the Necromancer’s energy beam and was wounded by its death power, which the White-haired Mage’s healing spell could not dispel.
  • Su Han used Chaos Break to repel the Necromancer’s next beams, then faced a Skeleton Giant summoned from the bones of a hundred warriors.
  • Su Han ordered Karen to lead the knights against the giant’s legs and the White-haired Mage to distract the Necromancer.
  • Karen’s knights drew the Skeleton Giant’s attention while the White-haired Mage forced the Necromancer to defend against magical beams.
  • Su Han leaped toward the Skeleton Giant and drove his energy claw into its eye socket, making its green flames flicker.
  • The wounded Skeleton Giant roared and swung its enormous palm toward Su Han.

Ch. 511Sneak Attack (3)

Su Han and the knights destroyed the Skeleton Giant and defeated the Necromancer, but Su Han was gravely wounded and lost consciousness. Karen carried him toward Blackstone City for treatment as the survivors realized the war against the Bone Lord was only beginning.

  • Su Han extinguished the Skeleton Giant's second eye while Karen and the knights attacked its leg, causing it to break its own leg and crash to the ground.
  • The Necromancer gathered a deadly sphere of death energy, while the White-haired Mage tried to protect Su Han and urged Karen to take him away.
  • Su Han charged the Necromancer and struck the energy sphere with his energy claw, triggering a violent explosion that threw Karen and the White-haired Mage aside.
  • Su Han and the Necromancer fell wounded; the Necromancer died and turned to ash, while Su Han lost consciousness.
  • The White-haired Mage examined Su Han and warned that he needed urgent treatment, so Karen carried him toward Blackstone City with the knights.

Ch. 512Awakened Again—Another Illusion!

Su Han awoke in Dripping Blood Cave after another vivid illusion and tried to determine what had caused it. He kept his suspicions from Bi Yao and resolved to uncover the source before it endangered them.

  • Su Han woke from an illusion in which he had fought amid a battlefield and found himself unharmed beside the sleeping Bi Yao.
  • He recalled that both illusions had drawn on memories from his former life and wondered whether Dripping Blood Cave or an unknown force was responsible.
  • Su Han searched the cave and sensed no unusual energy, but grew wary that whoever caused the illusions might threaten him and Bi Yao.
  • Bi Yao woke and asked what was wrong, and Su Han told her he had only had a nightmare.
  • Bi Yao wiped the sweat from Su Han's forehead and offered to keep watch while he rested, as he silently resolved to find the truth.

Ch. 513Leaving Dripping Blood Cave

Su Han decided to leave Dripping Blood Cave after suspecting that its strange aura had caused his hallucinations, and he led Bi Yao toward a nearby Bamboo Forest. Outside the cave, the aura vanished, but Su Han remained wary as they continued along the mountain path.

  • Su Han told Bi Yao they had to leave Dripping Blood Cave, and she trusted him without asking further questions.
  • Su Han gave Bi Yao his coat and a protective jade pendant before leading her toward the cave entrance.

  • Su Han proposed taking shelter near the Bamboo Forest, while Bi Yao followed and urged him not to stay so tense.
  • Su Han kept his hand on his Azure Steel Sword and watched their surroundings as they walked.

Ch. 514Blood Scale Lizards

Su Han and Bi Yao encountered a pack of Blood Scale Lizards in the Bamboo Forest, and Su Han fought to keep them away from Bi Yao. His sword could barely pierce their scales, so he began using a talisman as the lizards pressed their attack.

  • Su Han sensed a bloody smell near the Bamboo Forest and told Bi Yao to stay behind him by a tree.
  • Several Blood Scale Lizards emerged, and Su Han identified them as dangerous demons comparable to mid Foundation Establishment cultivators.
  • The lead lizard spat corrosive venom, which Su Han dodged before attacking it with his Azure Steel Sword.
  • Su Han’s sword only left a shallow mark on the lizard’s hard scales, and he evaded its counterattack.
  • The other lizards surrounded Su Han, with some moving toward Bi Yao, so he blocked one attacker and threw a talisman at another.

Ch. 515Blood Scale Lizard King

Su Han defeated the Blood Scale Lizards besieging him and Bi Yao, but a much more powerful Blood Scale Lizard King emerged from the Bamboo Forest. The chapter ended with Su Han shielding Bi Yao as he faced the new threat.
