Euron Greyjoy spread his hands with apparent helplessness. "We are brothers. I need your aid for my campaign. This is merely a token of my sincerity."
Undisguised disgust appeared in Aeron's eyes. "No one knows you better than I do. Stop acting. I can feel your hostility toward me."
At that, Crow's Eye burst into laughter. "Hostility? We truly are family. I can feel the same thing from you."
Aeron snorted coldly. "Hearing words like family from your mouth is truly laughable."
Crow's Eye's smile faded slightly. He rubbed his chin, and the smile at his lips spread again. "Your misunderstanding of me runs too deep. It seems... we really need to have a proper talk, my brother. I need you."
Aeron's eyes met the one beside Crow's Eye's eyepatch. After a pause, he slowly spoke. "Where is your final destination, Euron?"
"The whole world."
"The whole world?"
"The Green Lands first."
"The Green Lands?"
Crow's Eye bared his teeth and spread his arms. "The entire Green Lands."
Aeron stared at Crow's Eye for a while. "You want to conquer the Seven Kingdoms? You truly are mad. The lords and knights of the Green Lands will never allow a kraken to become their king."
Crow's Eye paid no heed to Aeron's judgment. He shrugged. "More than ten years ago, didn't Robert Baratheon seize the Iron Throne from the Targaryens?"
Aeron gave a cold laugh. "He could sit securely on that Iron Chair because his grandmother was a Targaryen. At least that conformed to the laws of succession in the Green Lands. And you, King Greyjoy? Even if you seized the Iron Throne, every man and woman in the Green Lands would have reason to kill
