When Jaime Lannister found Lord Mace, he was ready to depart. The golden armor engraved with rose patterns on his body gleamed in the morning light, making him look imposing and majestic.

Under the wary gazes of the Tyrell Green Cloaks, Ser Jaime stepped up before Lord Mace.

"Lord Mace."

Lord Mace waved a hand, signaling the Green Cloaks to withdraw farther away while remaining on guard.

Then he glanced at Jaime and stroked his beard. "White Knight, you still have time for breakfast."

Jaime's green eyes fixed on Lord Mace as he spoke bluntly. "If you would permit it, could you tell me what happened?"

Lord Mace's expression was somewhat complicated. He sighed. "You would have learned soon enough. I had no intention of hiding it from you. Your sister... the Faith intends to make Cersei parade through King's Landing."

Jaime's pupils contracted sharply. "Parade?!"

Lord Mace stroked his beard. "The Faith has gone too far. This could very well plunge the Seven Kingdoms into chaos again. I must return to the Red Keep as soon as possible and assist the king in stabilizing the situation."

They actually dared to force Cersei to parade through the city?!
