Leyton smiled faintly again, leaning his upper body slightly toward Tyrion. "Please rest assured, I even prepared cooks specifically for the giants."
Limping along, Tyrion looked mildly surprised. "Cooks?"
Leyton slowed his pace and shrugged. "Specifically, a group of strong-built cooks. His Majesty Gryn ordered me to select them for each legion."
Tyrion nodded, but after taking a few steps, he suddenly stopped.
"His Majesty?"
"Yes, His Majesty the King."
After swallowing the last piece of meat and draining the malt ale in his cup, Tyrion finally "digested" the news that Gryn had been crowned King of the Seven Kingdoms.
As well as the other news—that Daenerys Targaryen had returned to King's Landing with three dragons.

Tyrion first let out a long belch, then ran his fingers through his messy hair and murmured, "Dragons from legend..."
Ser Bronn, seated opposite him, lifted his wooden bowl and gulped down the remaining meat broth.
He casually wiped the broth from his beard with his palm. "Lord Tyrion, you seem to be in a good mood?"
Tyrion leaned back in his chair, glanced at Jaime, who sat diagonally across from him and ate silently, then grinned. "I was just thinking of Aegon the Conqueror."
"I know him."
Ser Bronn chuckled. "I heard the Faith of the Seven disliked him greatly, because he had two lawful wives at once."
Tyrion raised his brows. "So that's what you envy? Or are you jealous, mercenary?"
Ser Bronn picked up his cup, took a large swig of ale, and slowly grinned. "Unfortunately, that was a privilege reserved solely for the Conqueror."
"Hey, a castle can't have two mistresses. Otherwise, sooner or later, blades will be drawn."
