But Prometheus was not only rather disrespectful toward Lin; in many ways, she did not act like a younger sister at all. She never smiled either, as cold as a robot.

Brother Lin was strange too. He often ordered Prometheus around in a commanding tone, yet she never listened.

"Ah~" Prometheus shoved a spoon right in front of Lin's nostrils.

"..."

Sakura gave Prometheus and Lin a subtle look. Their bodies were so close that she might as well have been lying on top of him.

Wasn't that action and distance a little too intimate? Did this girl lack even that kind of common sense?

"Prometheus, you're practically stuffing the spoon into Brother Lin's nose." Ling saw it as friendly interaction between siblings. "Don't make things difficult for Brother Lin."

Prometheus moved the spoon a little farther away and stared seriously at Lin, whose face had gone completely dark. "Lin is very disobedient, and he likes to be picky about food."

"...I don't think 'disobedient' is a word you should use for your brother."

"Rebellious."

Lin began to wonder whether he had somehow mistreated Prometheus in the past and was now suffering the consequences.

"Haha, you siblings are really interesting." Sakura was amused by their interaction as well. Lin was icy and aloof, while Prometheus was icy and aloof with a hint of mischief. Yet whenever Lin tried to be forceful, his inconvenient body prevented him from resisting Prometheus. Every word he spoke was filled with helplessness.

It was not the warmth of family, but there was indeed a strange bond between the two of them.

Lin glanced at her smile from the corner of his eye. It was warm and sunny, without a trace of pretense.

He felt as though he had seen that smile on someone before.
