The flow differs, but it is not that time passes on one side while the other remains completely still."

The sunlight was perfect today.

Ling stood at the edge of a high-rise building, gazing over the city as he calmly spoke to Lin behind him.

"From the time you left to the time you returned, fifty thousand years have already passed. Even by the Amber King's longest hammer stroke, that would be at least two hundred Amber Eras. Ordinary intelligent life cannot survive for such an immense span of time."

"And now, it is clearly the disturbance caused by unstable Imaginary energy that has caused our existence to intersect with this world bubble's past."

Lin understood.

What was happening now was actually the event from fifty thousand years ago, when Lin and Bianca had crossed time to meet within this world bubble. The reason this world bubble had not dissolved was largely because the unstable Imaginary energy surrounding it caused observed states of the world bubble to exist at different points in time.

In other words, fifty thousand years ago, while Lin was still living in this world with Elysia, his present self from fifty thousand years in the future had already come to this world bubble and silently watched his past self from afar.

"...So, what do you plan to do?"

Ling asked the man who was staring distantly at the roof beneath which his past self and Elysia had once lived together.
