Bumblebee VS Lizard (Part 2)

"Roar!"

The Lizard's regenerative abilities were no joke; having lain on the ground for less than a second, he let out a defiant roar and lunged straight out of the massive hole he had smashed into the wall.

He had grown much smarter this time, choosing not to clash head-on with the Transformer Bumblebee Model, instead using his superior agility to leverage the robot's mechanical arm as a foothold, leaping onto its neck to attack its head.

Although Bumblebee possessed the combat programming written by Li Si, it was ultimately not a robot with true self-awareness; it required time to analyze the enemy's attack patterns, and even that split second was enough for the Lizard to land several vicious swipes.

Fortunately, the hardness of the titanium-gold alloy was extreme, and combined with the shock-absorbent coating and the buffer layers designed by Li Si, those claws proved ineffective, leaving nothing but a series of sparks and a few new scratches.

At this moment, Bumblebee reacted, collapsing onto the ground and using its massive weight to force the Lizard to jump away and dodge.

"Li, your little toy doesn't seem as mighty as it looks!"

The Lizard wore a cruel smile, baring his rows of jagged white teeth as he lunged again, relying on his nimble frame to skirmish. While he couldn't necessarily inflict much damage on Bumblebee, he was somehow managing to trade blows back and forth for the time being.

Occasionally, the Lizard would try to bypass Bumblebee to strike directly at Li Si, but he was either anticipated and dodged by Li Si or blocked by Bumblebee or Peter Parker.

"If I didn't want to avoid the excuse of exposing heavy weaponry and causing trouble for certain people, you would have been reduced to scrap metal long ago!"

Li Si watched from the sidelines with a smile, ignoring the Lizard's attempts to goad him with trash talk after his repeated failed sneak attacks.

He wasn't in any hurry to end the fight; he was actually hoping to stall for time, and the longer and more intense the battle between the Lizard and Bumblebee became, the happier he was.

The destruction caused by the two massive monsters wrestling together was devastating; the floor, walls, tables, chairs, and bookshelves all became sacrifices to their immense strength, and within a few minutes, the entire library had been practically demolished.

"Damn it, what kind of metal is this? How can it be this hard!"

Unable to secure a victory after a prolonged assault, the Lizard roared in frustration, while Bumblebee remained like a silent gladiator, throwing punches and kicks in total silence, the only sound being the subtle whirring of its moving parts.

However, the restless little Spider-Man clearly didn't like Bumblebee staying silent during such a heated scene, and he began providing his own commentary.

"Hey, ha... that's right, another heavy punch!"

"Eat my super-heavy iron fist!"

"Yes, just like that, lift his tail, let me see his..."

Peter Parker was naturally a bit of a closeted smart-mouth, and after putting on the spandex, he felt a sense of anonymity that allowed him to let loose; his trash talk, buzzing incessantly like a fly, simply never ended.

"Peter, if you keep spewing that trash talk, I'll have you swap places with Bumblebee and fight this big lizard yourself!"

Li Si finally reached his limit with the chatterbox beside him, veins popping on his forehead as he gritted his teeth and shouted at him, even calling him by his name.

"Uh... alright buddy, I'm just a little too excited..."

Peter Parker instinctively tried to excuse himself, then suddenly realized: "Wait... Li, you knew it was me?"

"No kidding. Don't you know how to add a voice modulator to that disgusting spandex suit of yours?"

Li Si glared at him with black lines across his forehead: "Do you think I'm some idiot who can't even distinguish a voice? Or one of those blind classmates who can't see you rushing over to fight this big lizard?"

"..."

Peter Parker was stunned.

Was his identity really that easy to expose?

"Uh... this... that..."

Peter Parker stammered for a long time before simply taking off his mask and revealing a sheepish grin.

Since his identity was already exposed, he stopped pretending, placing a hand on Li Si's shoulder with a familiar air and asking, "Li, where did you get this cool big guy?"

He had been curious for a long time, but while wearing the Spider-Man suit, he had been worried about revealing his identity and forced himself to hold back; now, after the momentary shock of being exposed, he couldn't help but ask.

Li Si looked at him with a smirk and said, "You don't know? Didn't you beg to buy one earlier?"

"I wanted to buy one? Wait, this... is this the design draft you drew earlier? You made this yourself?"

Li Si looked at him with a smile: "The Transformer Bumblebee Model, production cost is 370,000 USD. Including labor, I'll sell it to you for 400,000 USD!"

The gaze of a true tycoon.

As one of the most famously broke people in Marvel, Peter Parker nearly turned green at the mention of 400,000 USD, shaking his head and waving his hands as if he were having a seizure.

"You don't want it?" Li Si continued his tycoon gaze.

"Right, I don't!"

Peter Parker nodded with absolute certainty, his attitude firm.

"Oh, alright then!"

Li Si put on an expression of regret and disappointment: "I was actually thinking of giving you one as a favor to a classmate, but since you don't want it, then forget it."

Peter Parker wore a bitter expression, gritting his teeth as he glared at Li Si.

"That's right, I did it on purpose."

Li Si looked completely righteous, wearing an expression that practically asked what Peter was going to do about it.

It had to be said that watching the talkative, sharp-tongued little Spider-Man get frustrated was quite satisfying; Peter Parker's expression at this moment was truly spectacular, and Li Si couldn't even help but secretly signal Bumblebee to glance over and record the scene.
