Bumblebee was locked in a heated battle with Lizard, but the shrill sound of sirens suddenly erupted outside the school building.

"I am Captain George Stacy of the Queens Police Department. We have surrounded this building..."

It must be said that this was absolutely the fastest police response in the history of America. The New York police broke their usual tradition of arriving only after the fact; it had taken less than ten minutes from the moment Lizard launched his attack to the arrival of the police.

Desperate to escape, he stopped dodging and chose to meet the attack head-on, letting out a furious roar as he collided with Bumblebee.

However, the moment they made contact, Lizard—who had intended to tank the hit and use the momentum to escape through the restroom toward the sewers—had his expression twist in extreme agony.

The force of Bumblebee's collision, with all his mechanical power concentrated into one impact, was at least 30 tons. Combined with his massive weight, being hit by him was no different than being struck by a locomotive.

Crack! Crash!

The sound of shattering glass rang out.

Bumblebee's massive frame carried Lizard straight through the window, and both tumbled down from the second floor.

"Ah! Those two monsters are out!"

Seeing the two giant monsters roll down, everyone outside couldn't help but scream in terror.

"You are surrounded! Cease your actions and surrender, or we will be forced to use lethal measures!"

As soon as the two brawling monsters appeared, the police surrounding the building reacted immediately. However, they were helpless against the two massive, earth-shaking creatures and could only aim their handguns while shouting from a distance.

No one dared to fire. The giant robot was made entirely of metal; even a fool knew that standard handgun bullets would have no effect.

As for the lizard monster, it was fighting the robot to a standstill, and whether firearms would work on it was an unknown. No one dared to risk provoking the inhuman beast by firing.

At this moment, Li Si had Peter Parker, who had put his mask back on, carry him down through the shattered window.

"Li, why are you here? Get over here, quickly!"

George Stacy, who was directing the surrounding officers, turned pale and shouted urgently.

"Mr. Stacy, please have your men back off a bit. This robot is my creation; he can stop this monster attacking the school!"

Li Si hurriedly stopped George Stacy, who was trying to pull him away. With that single sentence, he clarified his position and distanced himself from the danger, then gave a wink to Gwen nearby.

Gwen understood Li Si's intent; she pushed through the crowd, ran over, and whispered an explanation into George Stacy's ear.

After listening to Gwen, George Stacy was stunned for a moment. He frowned at Li Si, then nodded and waved his hand with a grim face, signaling the surrounding police to retreat.

The police pulled back, but the reporters—who were completely fearless in their pursuit of a sensational story—ignored the police barricades. They rushed forward, waving their press passes and cameras, the click-click of camera flashes sounding incessantly.

"Gentlemen, please stay back! Although my robot has pinned the lizard monster, flying debris could still hurt you!"

While most cameras were aimed at the fierce battle between Bumblebee and Lizard, quite a few were now pointed at Li Si and Peter Parker, though undoubtedly more were focused on the latter.

Li Si, who had long prepared to appear on television to boost his reputation, wasn't about to let Peter Parker steal his spotlight. With a light, smiling piece of advice, he drew the reporters' attention to himself.

"Attention viewers, I am CBS field reporter Mary. I am now bringing you a live broadcast of the monster attack at the Midtown School of Science and Technology in Queens!"

"As you can see from the footage, a giant yellow robot is currently engaged in battle with a lizard monster. We also see a familiar figure on the scene—our very own New York Justice Kid, Spider-Man!"

A group of reporters swarmed around. Even though Li Si's smile was becoming stiff, the reporters had no intention of interviewing him. Instead, they began narrating to their cameras at high speed.

Fortunately, the reporters quickly got to the point.

"Spider-Man's suit is severely damaged, and he appears to be injured, so he is not participating in the main battle. However, take a look at this handsome young man next to him."

"According to reports just received, the giant robot currently fighting the lizard monster was built by this young man. He controlled his creation to intervene the moment the lizard monster appeared."

"Furthermore, according to interviews with students at Midtown School of Science and Technology, this young man is also their classmate, and he is only eighteen years old. I can almost foresee the birth of another genius inventor on par with Tony Stark!"

The reporters from various stations spoke with incredible speed yet perfect clarity, rattling off their introductions without taking a breath. Their acting skills were top-tier, their faces filled with just the right amount of excitement and fervor—far more impressive than some of the current internet idols.
