"Hmm?"
Li Si was about to turn and leave without giving Brock another thought when Luna caught his attention.
More precisely, it was a display case Luna was looking at. Something inside had drawn the eye.
It was a set of four mechanical tentacles joined at one end. They were silver-white, and each had a three-pronged claw at its tip.
Though no one was controlling them, the four tentacles writhed unconsciously. If not for their silver-white appearance, they would have looked just like an octopus's waving limbs.
"Doctor Octopus Arms!"
Seeing those iconic mechanical tentacles, it was hard not to think of Doctor Octopus, one of the major villains in the Spider-Man series.
Most Spider-Man villains were highly intelligent scientists, and Doctor Octopus, Otto Gunther Octavius, was no exception.
Take the Doctor Octopus Arms he had invented. They could exert a force of eight tons.
The mechanical arms Li Si had painstakingly designed for Bumblebee could manage only ten tons. Bumblebee's arms were as thick as an ordinary person's waist, but the arms capable of exerting eight tons of force were only as thick as a baby's.
That wasn't even the arms' greatest strength. Doctor Octopus had originally designed them to assist him with his experiments, connecting them directly to his spinal nerves so they could be controlled as naturally as his own limbs.
Compared to ordinary arms, the four mechanical limbs were almost perfectly stable. Their three-pronged claws could easily grasp objects as small as a pinhead, making them ideal for delicate work.
Their strength was enough to lift most objects, making them the perfect assistants for experiments. They were formidable in combat, too.
And here was something that might make most self-proclaimed inventors or scientists feel ashamed: although Doctor Octopus's mechanical arms were impressive, that wasn't even his
