Lee really wanted to argue back.
But seeing General Ross like this, he ultimately chose not to provoke him.
There were still plenty of good things in the military's hands that he had yet to get. For now, he had no intention of falling out with General Ross.
"Fine, I'm going."
With a helpless shrug, Lee loosened his tie, then unclipped Little Bully Dog's leash and quickened his pace toward the Cell Biology Laboratory Building.
But he had not gone far before stopping again.
Not because he had changed his mind, but because there was no longer any need.
"Roar!"
Along with a violent roar, a second-floor window of the Cell Biology Laboratory Building—and a section of the wall beside it—was smashed to pieces. A mangled, unrecognizable mass of flesh fell straight down and crashed heavily onto the lawn behind Lee with a dull thud.
Immediately afterward, the hulking Hulk leaped down through the hole in the window as well. Breathing heavily, he strode toward Lee—or rather, toward Blonsky behind Lee, who had already been beaten beyond recognition.
"General, can Lee Stein really handle this? It looks like he didn't bring anything..."
Watching the Hulk gradually approach Lee, Jonathan hesitantly asked General Ross from nearby, "What exactly is this secret weapon?"
"Capture him if you can. If not, retreat."
General Ross did not answer directly. His eyes remained fixed on the Hulk, his gaze slowly tracking his movements.
In truth, he did not know what Lee Stein had prepared, nor did he need to.
Their arrangement was simply a deal to capture the Hulk.
If Lee Stein won, everyone would be happy. It would also mean that Lee Stein was even more worth taking seriously;
